We are a group of individuals who have come together to help raise funds to provide sensory spaces and inclusive equipment for the residents living at Thorntree Farm, Stokesley.  

Our mission is to create an inclusive and supportive environment that enhances their overall well-being and quality of life.

After leaving school I joined the Army and was in the Royal Artillery and the Airborne Brigade earning my wings and red beret. After leaving the army I trained to be an Occupational Therapist at The Ripon and York St John College in York, qualifying in 1992 and I worked for over 30 years in Leeds and North Yorkshire NHS community disability services. I have worked with the homeless in a volunteer role and carry out volunteer activities with the church I attend in York.

Susie Little

Proud gay woman who gets immense reward from helping those less fortunate as much as working full-time allows. I am a Trustee of New Beginnings Peer Support in Harrogate.

Sue Storey

I am a parent of a 26-year-old daughter with a disability, so I understand the challenges of advocating for their needs. I have also worked for the NHS for 22 years and hold an NVQ Level 3 in Administration.

Cheryl Glenton

I have worked in adult social care since 1998 starting as a Domestic Assistant in a residential home in Northumberland to managing the care home in 4 years.

Liam Hensberg BSc

I live in North Wales and hold a BSc in Software Engineering from Manchester Metropolitan University. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Marine Engineering.

Grace Morrison BSc

I am a positive behaviour support practitioner with experience working with both adults and children with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions.

Adrian Storey BSc

I am the owner of JAK Fine Art Printing. I hold a BSc in Printing, Imaging and materials. I live in Garswood, with my partner.
